Susan G. Komen for the Cure's promise is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to discover the cures. To meet this promise, Affiliates rely on the information obtained through the Community Profile process to guide them in the work they must accomplish in their communities.

The Community Profile determines the state of breast cancer at the local level, establishes priorities for improving health, making effective grants and evaluates the impact of public health programs and policies.

Each Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Affiliate is required to submit a Community Profile every two years to National Komen Headquarters. Our next profile will be available in 2011.
