2008 BMW Ultimate Drive

The Lowcountry Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Rick Hendrick BMW celebrated their 12th annual BMW Ultimate DriveŽ to benefit Susan G. Komen for the CureŽ on December 10, 2008. Volunteers throughout the Lowcountry along with employees from the Allstate Insurance Company located at Faber Place Drive in North Charleston drove 11,622 miles and broke last year's all-time record by raising a grand total of $13,440.

The BMW Ultimate DriveŽ is a driving program created by BMW to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and community out reach programs. Each year, the general public is invited to drive BMWs at participating dealerships during an Ultimate Drive event. For each mile driven in one of the BMW vehicles, $1 is contributed to the Komen Foundation.
